I am a communications manager with a passion for digital communications and digital transformation.
As a student, back in 1995, I built my first website using vi on a UNIX pizza-box and I’ve been fascinated by the Internet and digital communications ever since.
In my current role as Head of Communications of the Berlin site of the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) I am responsible for the communications of one of Europe’s most exciting AI labs in one of Europe’s most exciting cities.

I’ve worked as an information designer, project manager, lecturer, and as communications and social media officer for start-ups, large media corporations and internationally renowned research organisations at the intersection of world class academia, research, international industry and the public sector in the fields of artificial intelligence and space flight.

EducationI studied Intercultural Communications, Information Science and Computational Law at the University of the Saarland.
In 2016 I received a Masters degree in Communications, Media and Public Relations from the University of Leicester (merit).
My working languages are German, English and French.
With my family I am based in in Berlin.
